INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE - THE CORE OF HIGHER EDUCATION

On March 18, 2025, at the Department of Turkology and History of the Eastern Countries, students of the 4th-year educational programs "Oriental Studies" and "Foreign Philology" summed up the results of a two-month industrial practice and reported. The total number of students who completed industrial practice is 17. Of these, 14 took place in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 3 - in the Department of the Near, Middle East and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Aner Arlan, Asan Anar, Kokteubay Nazerke).

The following were invited to the reporting meeting: Head of the Department of Turkology and History of the Eastern Countries, PhD in History, Associate Professor Egamberdiev Myrzakhan Sharipbaevich, Deputy Head of the Department of Turkology and History of the Eastern Countries for Science and International Relations, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Dulaeva Elnara Zulpikarovna, and responsible for industrial practice, Senior Lecturer Abildayev Zhenisbek Akimbekovich.

Speaking at the reporting meeting, the responsible employee Zh. Abildayev acquainted the students with the results of the reporting meeting held at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and noted the work done by the students. They completed all the assignments of the library staff. For example, compiling a bibliography, editing books, filing newspapers and magazines, translating, participating in festive events. The staff of the National Library highly appreciated and noted the good assessment of the industrial practice of 4 courses. In particular, the senior research fellow for translation work Zamzaeva Tolkyn noted three students. These are Shakipzada Inkar, Turgumbayev Ruslan and Erzhan Ospan. They were especially impressed by their high level of translation and the richness of languages.

On behalf of the students who completed their internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aner Arlan spoke about the very interesting internship, the results of the work done, and his desire to serve in this department.

Head of the Department Myrzakhan Sharipbaevich congratulated the students on their successful completion of their industrial practice and shared their plans for the future. The Head of the Department informed the 4th year students about their admission to the Master's program and presented the department's specialties. Most of the students expressed a desire to enroll in the Master's program, continue their education and enroll in the department's specialties.

The reporting meetings were held at a high level, and the students were given appropriate grades.
