My Experience of Studying in Kazakhstan

My name is Turganalieva Aruzhan, and I am an international student from Uzbekistan. Currently, I am studying at one of the most prestigious universities in Kazakhstan — Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. I am a first-year student at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies.

Studying in Kazakhstan is a great opportunity for me. The education system here is highly developed, and Al-Farabi KazNU is well-known not only in Kazakhstan but throughout Central Asia. The academic program is of high quality, and the teachers are true professionals in their field.

My major is Chinese Studies, and this field is very relevant today. Learning the Chinese language and culture opens up great opportunities for the future. Our professors teach us not only the language but also the history, culture, economy, and political system of China. In addition, the university organizes special language courses and events for practical language improvement.

The KazNU campus is very large and modern. It provides all the necessary facilities for students — a huge library, dormitories, sports halls, and opportunities to participate in cultural activities. Moreover, the university warmly welcomes international students and always offers support.

Studying in Kazakhstan has given me not only knowledge but also new friends, exposure to a new culture, and invaluable experience. In the future, I want to use my knowledge to strengthen friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Studying here is a great honor for me and an important step toward my future!
