Exploring the World Through Knowledge: My Journey at KazNU

My name is Zhenis Bakzhol, and I am an international student from China. When choosing to study abroad, I was looking for a university that would not only provide high-quality education but also help me grow as an individual. That’s how I chose Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU)—one of the top universities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

I am studying "Foreign Philology," and for me, this is not just a profession but a way to understand the world through languages, literature, and culture. Here, I don’t just learn theory—I actively apply my knowledge in practice: attending language courses, joining discussion clubs, and participating in cultural events. The professors at KazNU are true professionals who make learning both valuable and inspiring.

The KazNU campus impressed me with its spacious classrooms, modern library, sports facilities, and comfortable dormitories, all creating excellent conditions for studying and student life. Here, I have met amazing people, made new friends, and immersed myself in Kazakh culture. Kazakhstan has welcomed me with great hospitality, and I feel supported both by the university and the local community.

Studying in Kazakhstan has been more than just an academic challenge—it has been a life-changing experience that has broadened my perspective. In the future, I hope to use the knowledge I have gained to strengthen cultural and educational ties between our countries.
