Informative excursion of students of the Faculty of Law to the Almaty City Court: theory in practice

On March 7, 2025, an educational tour was organized at the Almaty City Court for students of group 302 of the Law Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was held by the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva and curator B.M. Konysbai. Myrzakhan Darkhan represented the court.

The tour was organized as part of the implementation (SDG) No. 17, approved by the United Nations. Its purpose was to familiarize students with the structure and procedure of the judicial system, as well as with the process of holding court sessions.

During the event, students toured the courthouse, visited courtrooms, and also got acquainted with the work of judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. The basic principles of conducting court proceedings, document management in court and key aspects of the administration of justice were discussed.

The tour provided students with a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practice, see the real work of the judicial system and develop the professional skills of future lawyers. Such events contribute to raising students' legal awareness and enhance their interest in their chosen profession.
