FROM PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE TO THE WORKPLACE

On March 18, 2025, the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a session to review final-year students' reports on their internships.

Fourth-year students of the educational programs "6B02207 – Oriental Studies," "6B02301 – Foreign Philology (Eastern Languages)," and "6B02302 – Translation Studies (Foreign Philology)" successfully completed their internships and presented detailed reports on their experiences.

The meeting was attended by representatives of employers, who joined via an online format. During the discussion, it was noted that this year's internship placements had expanded, offering students high-quality practical experience that meets the requirements of final-year curricula.

As a result of the internship, many employers highly appreciated the students' professional training and offered them permanent job positions, proving the high demand for graduates in the labor market.

This event provided students with a valuable opportunity to assess their professional skills, determine their future career paths, and establish direct connections with potential employers.
