Studying in China: KazNU Student’s Experience in Lanzhou

Baiganat Meirim Aidarkyzy, a third-year student at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, is currently studying in Lanzhou, China, as part of an academic mobility program. Lanzhou is a major educational and cultural center in Western China, renowned for its rich history and dynamic development.

Studying in Lanzhou has provided her with a unique experience, allowing her to deepen her knowledge of the Chinese language and immerse herself in the country’s culture. In addition to attending university lectures, she actively participates in the city’s cultural life, interacts with local students and professors, and learns about Chinese traditions and customs.
