National clothing as a part of Kazakhstan modern culture

On March 18, 2025, within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality education" and to  popularize   national clothing, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature held a round table discussion  on the topic: "National clothing as part of the modern culture of Kazakhstan". The Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Full Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan B.U. Dzholdasbekova, Deputy Dean for Scientific-Innovation Activities and International Relations, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.A. Bayanbayeva, Deputy Dean for Educational, methodical and educational work, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor J.B. Satkenova and the lecturers  of the department. 

The presentations  were made by the head of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Full Professor A.B. Temirbolat, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor S.A. Kalkabayeva, Candidate of Philological Sciences S.B. Tleubaev, PhD, Associate Professor G.R. Dautova, Senior Lecturer Sh.A. Shortanbai. They talked about the history,  the symbolic meaning and  the role of national clothes in preserving cultural and spiritual values, in the continuity of generations, and in educating young people. National clothing  was  noted to be  a reflection of the Kazakh identity. It is  an integral part of Kazakhstan culture of past and present times.
