SDG-4: Students watched the play "Qyzyl oramaldy shynarym"

6 february, 2025

On February 5, 2025, the faculty and students of the History Department attended the play based on the work of one of the most famous contemporary writers, Chinghiz Aitmatov, titled "Qyzyl oramaldy shynarym". The production was directed by the talented T. Temenov, and the play was a great success, evoking a wide range of emotions in the audience.

An ordinary driver, Ilyas, meets Asel through work, and their accidental encounter grows into pure love. Despite the obstacles that stand in their way, the lovers create a family, and soon they have a child. However, Ilyas's "idea," his dedication to work, fails, and this shatters the happiness of his family.

The performance, based on delicate feelings and deep lyricism, raises the issue of eternal love, encouraging the audience toward kindness, sensitivity, and humanity. Above all, it teaches the value of appreciating the people around you and recognizing your good fortune. The play "Qyzyl oramaldy shynarym" reminds us to be grateful for what life gives us and not to fall into the temptation of fleeting pleasures. As the saying goes, "Gold is not appreciated in hand," and this well-known work makes the audience reflect on the importance of valuing life.

At the end of the event, the participants took a photo to remember this vibrant cultural event. Participation in such activities not only broadens cultural horizons but also helps strengthen the bonds between the faculty and students of the History Department.
