Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Carol Miller, visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The distinguished guest was welcomed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuymebaev.

Currently, the university has established partnerships with 19 universities in the United States. In 2014, KazNU signed a memorandum of understanding with the American Councils for International Education.

The meeting took place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with the support of the Faculty of International Relations. Faculty members warmly welcomed the honored guest, while students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about the role of women in politics, the prospects for inter-parliamentary cooperation between the U.S. and Kazakhstan, as well as the development of bilateral relations in science and higher education.
