Friendly evening on the theme "Az-Nauryz kos keldin!"

On March 22, 2025, PhD Doctor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law M.N. Umbetov organized a friendly evening with the participation of foreign students living in the 18th Student House 
(representatives of Afghanistan and Egypt).
The main purpose of the event was to widely familiarize students with the historical and cultural significance of the traditional holiday of the Turkic peoples — Az-Nauryz, as well as to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the peoples.
During the evening, the students got to know more about the history of the origin of the Nauryz holiday, its ancient traditions and its role in Kazakh culture. The event was held in a festive and friendly atmosphere. The students tasted national dishes, took part in traditional games and, feeling the spirit of the holiday, realized the importance of intercultural communication.
This event was held as part of the implementation of the 4th, 10th and 16th UN Sustainable Development Goals, as such initiatives support cultural diversity, promote mutual understanding among young people and strengthen peace and friendship.
