A guest lecture was held on the theme "International Day for the Rights to Establish the Truth about Gross Violations of Human Rights and the Dignity of Victims"

On 03/25/2025, in order to implement the SDG-16 program "Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions", M.E. Saginaev, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law at the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, gave a guest lecture at the Adilet Higher School of Economics of the Caspian Public University on the topic "International Day of the Right to Establish the Truth about Gross Violations violations of human rights and dignity of victims." The lecture was held for first-year undergraduate students of the Caspian Dream Team grant department.                                                                                                           The lecture was held as part of the "International Day of the Right to Establish the Truth about Gross Violations of Human Rights and the Dignity of Victims", declared by the United Nations in 2010 and celebrated annually on March 24.  This day is celebrated annually in honor of Archbishop Oscar Romero, who was assassinated on March 24, 1980 for fighting against human rights violations in El Salvador.                                                                                                                                                      Events within the framework of this International Day are carried out within the framework of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in terms of promoting the building of a peaceful and open society for sustainable development, ensuring access to justice for all and the creation of effective, accountable and participatory institutions at all levels.
