"The Role of Men and Women in Society"

On March 19, 2025, at 12:00, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​held an event on the topic: "The Role of Men and Women in Society" within the framework of SDG 5: Gender Equality. The  teachers of the department K.A. Aisultanova, G.K. Atabaeva and the  1st-year students of the Faculty of Law organized the event. They discussed important problems of gender equality  and made informative reports.

The purpose of this event was  to study and analyze the influence of gender stereotypes on the division of tasks and roles between men and women in modern society, as well as to identify gender inequality and discrimination, and to find ways to achieve equality and justice. During the event,  the students of the Faculty of Law discussed the roles of men and women in society from a modern point of view. As a culmination of the event, in addition to educational performances,  the students of the Faculty of Law demonstrated their national art, performing a kuy on the dombra and singing.

The topic of “The Role of Men and Women in Society” was discussed within the framework of SDG 5. This point shows that there are many limitations imposed by the role of a woman or a man, and that these limitations mean that roles need to be changed. Such events not only serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, but also increase the responsibility of future lawyers to society, allowing them to gain international experience.
