Scientific and methodological seminar dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Ivan Dmitrievich Maslyukov

First-year PhD doctoral students of the educational program “8D05403 – Mechanics” Assan B.R., Mankeyeva G.R., and Tuyghynbekov Q.M., within the framework of their pedagogical practice organized by the Head of Department, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences D.E. Turalina, and practice supervisor, PhD B.A. Berdenova, held a scientific-methodological seminar dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Professor Ivan Dmitrievich Molyukov, in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Department of Mechanics.

The event was attended by veteran faculty members of the Department of Mechanics, including Associate Professor Baimisheva K.Sh., Academician Kaltaev A.Zh., Professor Sheriyazdanov G.B., Professor Minglibayev M.Dzh., Professor Utenov M.U., Professor Kydyrbekuly A.B., as well as the teaching staff and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

A presentation and an interview were prepared about Ivan Dmitrievich’s life, scientific, and teaching contributions. Honored instructors of the Department of Mechanics shared their memories of him.

After completing his postgraduate studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Ivan Dmitrievich Molyukov became one of the founders of the Department of Mechanics at Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov. His tireless scientific work made his life an example for the younger generation, elevating him to the pinnacle of knowledge and pedagogical excellence.

This event contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 4 "Quality education", by ensuring the dissemination of knowledge, the preservation of scientific heritage and the involvement of young people in research activities in the field of mechanics.
