"The Essence and Significance of Creative Work"

On February 28, 2025, within the framework of SDG Goal 4 "Quality Education", an open seminar on the topic: "The Essence and Significance of Creative Work" was held for the 3rd-year students majoring in Literary Studies. The seminar was conducted as a part of "Writer’s Craft" course under the guidance of Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory B. Bayazitov and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory, Doctor of Philology G.Zh. Bolatova. The seminar was delivered by Nurassyl Dauletbekovic Ziyadibekov , the first-year doctoral student in the Literary Studies program. The main objective of the seminar was to explore the writer’s individual creative laboratory, to study works born through the process of creative labor, and to form new perspectives on the writer’s place in literature and the portrayal of characters through analysis. The seminar employed interactive methods such as brainstorming, group work, and Q&A, and included feedback collection through the Padlet online board. As a result, students gained a deeper understanding of the specifics of the writer’s creative development, their role and significance in the field of literary studies, and demonstrated high engagement. The seminar contributed to the development of critical thinking, enhanced public speaking skills, and broadened scientific perspectives on the writer’s creative process.
