The Basis of Health – A Healthy Lifestyle

On March 27, 2025, first-year students of the Geodesy and Cartography program held a roundtable discussion on the topic "The Basis of Health – A Healthy Lifestyle." This event was held within the framework of one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 3 "Good Health and Well-being." The primary objective of this roundtable was to promote the importance of health among young people, discuss the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and emphasize the necessity of avoiding harmful habits. Participants shared their thoughts on various aspects of health preservation, proper nutrition, daily routines, sports activities, and the prevention of unhealthy behaviors. During the discussion, students explored different perspectives on a healthy lifestyle, relying on scientific research and statistical data. A special focus was given to the significance of balanced nutrition, adequate sleep, and regular physical activity in maintaining overall well-being. At the end of the event, participants developed recommendations for incorporating healthy habits into daily life and emphasized the importance of adhering to these principles. Overall, the roundtable contributed to raising students' awareness about health issues, fostering positive habits, and encouraging an active exchange of ideas.
