International Round Table Discussion on the topic: "Healthy Lifestyle"

On March 28, 2025, an International Round Table Discussion  dedicated to SDG-3 "Healthy Lifestyle" was held. The event was attended by  the first-year students of the Kazakh and English departments of the Faculty of Information Technology, as well as invited guests: entrepreneur Omirbek Aktilek from Mongolia and Aida Orynbasar, the first-year student of the "Business Information Technology" major at the Kazakh-American University.

The goal of the round table was to introduce young people to ways of strengthening and maintaining their health and to develop skills for leading a healthy lifestyle.

During the event, participants received information on health preservation measures such as physical activity, body strengthening, proper nutrition, and avoiding harmful habits. It was emphasized that following these principles is fundamental to leading a healthy lifestyle. The speakers explained that proper physical activity contributes to the growth and development of the body, regular body strengthening helps prevent diseases, and proper nutrition plays a key role in maintaining good health.

 The first-year students of the English group of the Faculty of Information Technology Mahwash Rezai, Suray Allamyradova, Soraya Amiri, Rownak Jahan Ananna, and Reza Sultani gave presentations on these topics.

Additionally, the invited guest from the Kazakh-American University, Aida Orynbasar, spoke about the importance of maintaining a proper sleep schedule.

The next speakers, first-year students of KazNU from China—Duan Xinyu and Li Xin—explained the necessity of avoiding smoking, alcohol, drugs, and toxic substances, as these harmful habits negatively impact the body and overall health. They also shared information about the importance of personal hygiene.

Entrepreneur Omirbek Aktilek from Mongolia emphasized the importance of consuming a large amount of vegetables and fruits in the diet and warned that eating at night can have negative effects on health.

Students Sultan Asel, Sarsenbek Aiganym, Abdugali Zhalgas, Ermakhan Beibarys, Toktarbekova Gulnaz, Kaskyrbayeva Karakatsulu, Serik Dildar, and Turakov Sayat explored practical ways to maintain good health, emphasizing that everyone is responsible for their own well-being. They noted that a well-structured daily routine not only improves physical health but also promotes discipline, enhances overall energy levels, and boosts work productivity.

Participants of the round table actively shared their opinions, asked questions, and expressed their perspectives on the discussed topics.

The round table discussion  was organized by lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages: Urazgaliyeva S.A., Kenesbayeva N.M., Nogaybayeva M.Zh., Gaipova G.A., Akylova G.S., Tektibayeva D.D., Orazbayeva A.S., Murzataeva A.T., Rezhep A.S., and Tursynbekova U.T.
