A meeting with doctoral students who have not yet entered the defense at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia

On March 31, the Department of the Middle East and South Asia hosted a meeting with doctoral students who have completed their studies but have not yet entered the defense. This online event was aimed at listening to the reports of doctoral students on scientific papers, exchanging opinions on the directions of their research.

The online meeting was attended by Dariga Moldagaliyevna Kokeyeva, Head of the Department, Farida Tokanovna Zhumazhanova, Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Relations, associate professor A. A. Mustafayeva, senior lecturer B. B. Batyrkhan, and graduate doctoral students. During the event, Farida Tokanovna Zhumazhanova, Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific and Innovation Activities and International Relations, familiarized with the composition of the dissertation council established at the faculty and reported on changes in the rules for awarding degrees. The doctoral students who have already completed their studies shared the main results of their research and plans for the future, as well as asked their questions.

Dariga Moldagaliyevna Kokeyeva, Head of the Department, highly appreciated the achievements of doctoral students in research, made some comments and wished them successful dissertation defense.

Following the online meeting, the doctoral students got acquainted in more detail with the rules for the defence of scientific papers. Such events contribute to increasing the academic potential of young researchers and their achievement of scientific achievements.

The Department of the Middle East and South Asia plans to regularly organize such meetings in support of doctoral students.
