Zhenis Zhadyra, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, successfully completed an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan allowed me to achieve several important goals:
Firstly, I gained valuable experience and was able to successfully apply the theoretical knowledge gained at KazNU, acquired at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of the Far East (Korean language). Secondly, it contributed to the improvement of my foreign language skills. Thirdly, with the help of the staff and management of the Department, I familiarized myself with the rules of document management and the order of registration of business correspondence, including diplomatic notes and official letters.
I also had a unique opportunity to practice my Korean language skills (letter writing, documentation and business correspondence, translation from a foreign language into the national language and vice versa) and familiarize myself with the business negotiation skills and diplomatic etiquette of the Asia-Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. Thus, I not only successfully completed the internship, but also managed to improve my communicative and mental abilities related to translations and verbal communication. In general, the internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan allowed me to significantly expand my professional horizons and apply my acquired skills in practice.
