On March 18, 2025 Russian Philology and World Literature Department teachers A.Sh. Amanov, E.A. Seitkazy, and A.N. Akhmet held an event on the topic: "Abai's Legacy: the Path to Wisdom" with the 1st-year students of "7M01702-Russian Language and Literature" major within the framework of SDG 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development". The purpose of the event was to introduce the participants to the legacy of the great poet and philosopher Abai Kunanbayev, his life, his work and his deep thoughts which continue to inspire and influence the culture and philosophy of Kazakhstan and the world to this day. The organizers of the event presented "Understanding of Abai is understanding of oneself" book to foreign undergraduates from China and South Korea.
