Family and I: Personal Responsibility in Relationships

On March 29, 2025, an open adviser hour on the topic "Family and I: Personal Responsibility in Relationships" was held for third-year students of the "International Law" educational program. The goal of the adviser hour was to foster students' understanding of the importance of personal responsibility in family relationships and to develop a conscious approach to building harmonious relationships with loved ones.
The following specialists were invited to the adviser hour:
- N. A. Temirgalieva – psychologist, expert at the "Intellect7G" Academy, and author of the psychological transformational game for personal growth "Journey to Yourself."
- A. K. Islam – investigator at the Investigative Department of the Auezov District Police Department in Almaty, Senior Police Lieutenant.
- N. B. Mynbayeva – Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor.
- A. A. Kurbanbayeva – lawyer at the Almaty Regional Bar Association.
- Zh. B. Kaliyev – psychoanalyst.
The adviser hour was held in an open discussion format, where students received valuable knowledge and recommendations from invited specialists. The discussion covered issues of responsibility in family relationships, legal aspects of family conflicts, and the role of psychological support and self-awareness in building healthy relationships.
The main discussion topics were:
- The psychological aspects of family relationships: establishing healthy boundaries, mutual understanding, and emotional intelligence.
- Legal responsibility in family relationships: protection of children's rights, prenuptial agreements, and alimony obligations.
- The role of the police in preventing family conflicts: legal measures and mechanisms for protecting victims of domestic violence.
