TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF AL-FARABI KAZNU AND SOAS, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON TO MEET FOR ACADEMIC COLLABORATION

As part of an educational and familiarization trip (Study Tour) organized by the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, a delegation led by renowned Central Asia specialist Professor Bhavna Dave will visit Almaty before continuing to Bishkek. The tour will take place from April 1-9, 2025.

On April 2, a meeting will be held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), where Dean N.B. Yem, faculty members, doctoral students, and students will engage with the SOAS delegation. The discussion will focus on prospects for academic collaboration and joint research. As part of the program, Professor L.G. Yerekesheva will deliver an open lecture in English for the visitors.

KazNU and SOAS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in 2024, laying the foundation for further academic exchange and partnership.
