“Mukhtar Magauin: Legacy, Generation, and Spirituality”

On March 13, 2025, at 15:00 pm, the senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, G.K. Dairabekova, A.T. Alimbayeva, and A.Zh. Bayieli, held a literary event on the topic: “Mukhtar Magauin: Legacy, Generation, and Spirituality” with the second-year students of 6B02304 Translation Studies(Western Languages) major.
“Mukhtar Magauin: Legacy, Generation, and Spirituality” literary evening was held within the framework of celebrating the 85th anniversary of Mukhtar Magauin. This event aimed at introducing the younger generation to the works and spiritual heritage of the prominent figure of Kazakh literature, writer, scholar, and public figure Mukhtar Magauin. Magauin’s works have made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and are focused on revealing the deep meaning of national identity and culture. The event consisted of reports, discussions, and creative reading sessions dedicated to his life and work. Issues related to spiritual connections between generations and the preservation of national heritage were also discussed addressed.
