Teachers of the Department of Mathematics have undergone advanced training

From February 17 to March 1, 2025, teachers of the Department of Mathematics completed a refresher course on the topic "Current Problems of Mathematics". The training was held within the framework of the continuing education program of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. The organizer was the Institute for Advanced Studies and Continuing Education.
The purpose of the course was to improve the professional competence of teachers in the field of modern mathematical problems and methods of teaching them in universities. The program covered 72 academic hours and included current topics in applied mathematics, new approaches to teaching, as well as solving interdisciplinary problems.

All participants received certificates of advanced training and expressed gratitude to the organizers for the informative and useful program.

The course paid special attention to issues that correspond to SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”. In particular, approaches to integrating digital technologies into teaching mathematics, using online platforms and digital tools for visualizing and analyzing mathematical problems were considered, which contributes to improving the quality of education and developing an innovative educational environment.
