Leadership lecture by the Deputy head for educational work and personnel of the UP of the Auezovsky district of Almaty, police Lieutenant Colonel Toksanbaev U.O. on the topic: "Prevention of delinquency among young people"

On April 2, 2025, as part of the implementation of SDG No. 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development", the Faculty of Law successfully hosted a leadership lecture by Umirgali Toksanbayev, Deputy Chief of Education and Personnel of the Auezovsky district of Almaty, Police Lieutenant Colonel, organized by the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, for students on the topic: "Prevention of delinquency among young people." In his lecture, Umirgali Orazgalievich highlighted important issues of students' awareness of offenses among young people and methods of their prevention, as well as analyzed the role of the police and the public in preventing illegal actions among young people. Crimes such as theft, drug use, hooliganism, participation in fights and other forms of violence were discussed.

In conclusion, attention was drawn to the legal consequences of committing offenses. Special attention was paid to age-related responsibility and punishment mechanisms for minors.

The lecture was aimed at forming an active civic position among students and understanding the importance of preventing offenses among young people. Preventive work should be comprehensive and include the interaction of law enforcement agencies, educational institutions and public organizations.
