The event, dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8

On March 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in room 208, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Zh.Kh. Salkhanova, a discussion of SDG 5 - "Gender Equality" was held. The event, dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8, was organized in the format of a Round Table Discussion, in which  the students studying in the specialty of  "Journalism" took part. Students Elmurat Samal, Eleusin Gulim, Galimzhan Aigerim and others spoke about the problems of gender equality in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia. Reports and presentations were devoted to the problems of gender equality in the regions of Europe, America, Africa. Students Bolatova Anel, Beisenova Firuza conducted a sociological survey. Galym Saltanat developed and presented a magazine dedicated to the topic under discussion, demonstrated the professional skills of a future journalist. Students Daut Kuanysh, Daulenkhan Almat, Ediluly Asylzhan considered the meaning of the terms: gender, justice, equality. Quizzes and slides were developed. In conclusion, the students expressed the opinion that gender equality as a social phenomenon should be a reality of Kazakhstan and the world as a whole.
