KazNU students conduct a forensic examination

Participants of the forum "Integration of Science, Business and production", organized by the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in cooperation with the Akimat of Almaty, got acquainted with the work of the Farabi HUB Scientific Center for Forensic Examinations.

The Forensic Examination Center, established in 2016, is now equipped with the latest equipment.

This center was opened for the first time among Russian universities in KazNU. He was also one of the first to receive a license to train specialists engaged in forensic examination. Here, students, masters and doctoral students of a higher educational institution undergo practical training in order to improve their knowledge. The center has a full opportunity to conduct special research in such areas as: document examination, tracological, ballistic, computer, molecular genetic examination.

Here, students are taught by KazNU teachers who have completed training and advanced training under the Bolashak program in the UK and Turkey.

The center also has a box for detecting offenders by smell, a device for analyzing small arms.

Specialists of the Center for Forensic Examinations intend to conduct joint research and training of specialists in the field of IT, chemistry, physics, and biology in the future together with the faculties of KazNU.
