Master class "Green" technologies for the sustainable maintenance of the oceans

On April 3, 2025, the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a master class by the founder of Ocean Science (Hong Kong) Limited, Ma Ye. The event was attended by master students of  Ecology speciality. 

During the master class, such aspects as were covered: 

• Practical ways of applying university "green" technologies in real industrial conditions. 
• Successful cooperation between industry, university and research using the example of Ocean Science (Hong Kong) Limited. 
• Raising awareness of how green innovation can simultaneously support multiple SDGs.

This master class demonstrated the application of best practices for the protection of aquatic ecosystems.
