On April 12, 2025, the Department of International Law organized the Republican Round Table on the theme: “Ensuring gender equality and empowerment of women in science”. This event was attended by the following guests: Director of the Graduate School of International Relations and Diplomacy of Turan University, Professor, Doctor of Political Science Mukhambedyarova Altynai Tuleuovna with the topic “Ways and opportunities to ensure gender equality of women in science on the example of Turan University”, as well as business angel, investor of the “Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan” Utegenova Dinara Akhmedovna with an interesting topic "Leadership without guilt: How a modern woman can combine business, motherhood and the right to her dreams: by personal example". During the discussion were heard speeches of Leila Fedorovna Delovarova, Director of the Regional Resource Center for Information about the UN at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and World Economy at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic: “Women in Science through the prism of SDG 5: obstacles and motivation”. Another participant of the round table, head of the office of innovative projects of ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev Suymenbaeva Zhanna Bagdatovna shared her experience. She told about the history of success of girls in technical sciences. Also spoke Coordinator of PSEA (UNICEF Kazakhstan) program to combat sexual harassment and abuse Baitukaeva Dana Umirbekovna. The national roundtable was held at a high level.
