Тook a regional course “Advisor on Gender and Human Security” at the Center for Peacekeeping Missions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

April 7-11, 2025 the Deputy Head of the Department of International Law on UMWR of the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Doctor PhD Baitukaeva Dana Umirbekovna took a regional course “Advisor on Gender and Human Security” at the Center for Peacekeeping Missions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She attended the course and received a certificate. During the course she also gave a lecture for the participants of this event on the topic: “Combating sexual abuse and harassment”, as she is a PSEA coordinator. The course included case studies on international humanitarian law and international criminal law. Participants also did risk analysis. Representatives from the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan participated in the course.
