
On April 15, 2025, the al‑Farabi Library hosted lectures by two invited professors from Germany — Igor Amann and Michael Storz. The event was organized for students, interns, master’s candidates, doctoral candidates, and the faculty and staff of the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
Professor Igor Amann delivered a presentation titled “Innovative SpineMed®️ Therapy (Spinal Decompression)”, in which he discussed modern non‑invasive treatments for spinal disorders based on cutting‑edge technologies.
Professor Michael Storz presented “A New Method of Alzheimer’s Disease Therapy – the So‑Called Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS)”, explaining in detail the mechanism by which TPS influences the brain and sharing data on its effectiveness in slowing the progression of neurodegenerative processes.
The lectures sparked great interest among the audience and fostered active discussions on contemporary approaches in medical therapy.
