SDG-4: Winners of the “Best Advisor – 2025” Project Announced

On April 11, a closing awards ceremony for the university-wide project “Best Advisor – 2025,” organized by the “Sunkar” Student and Master's Union, was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Based on the results, the winners are:

• 1st Place – Zhanat Asylkhanqyzy Sarsenbai, Advisor of the Faculty of Philology. Cash prize – 150,000 KZT.

• 2nd Place – Almas Medetzhanuly Alimbai, Advisor of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management. Cash prize – 100,000 KZT.

• 3rd Place – Tolghanai Bagdatqyzy Ryskali, Advisor of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. Cash prize – 50,000 KZT.

All participants received letters of appreciation for their active involvement.

The project consisted of three stages:

• Stage I – Video Presentation

Advisors introduced themselves via short video clips, sharing their professional experience, achievements, and contributions to university life.

• Stage II – “Brain Ring” Intellectual Game and “Start Up” Project Competition

Advisors competed by answering subject-related questions and showcasing teamwork and quick thinking. In the “Start Up” section, they presented innovative projects demonstrating their potential impact on the university and society.

• Stage III – Advisor & Student Week (in video format)

Advisors and students jointly showcased a week of activities through videos, including master classes, training sessions, and debates. The stage highlighted creative teaching approaches, collaboration, and modern educational methods.
