"Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repressions"

On April 22, 2025, in Room 316 of the Faculty of Philology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an  educational session on the topic:  "Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repressions" was held as part of the Sustainable Development Program. The event was organized by  the first-year master's degree  students majoring in Kazakh Philology.
The purpose of the session was to provide students with a deep understanding of the place and consequences of political repressions in the history of the Kazakh people, to foster their historical awareness and patriotic qualities, and to nurture their appreciation for the values of justice and freedom. During the event, participants learned about the fates of individuals affected by the repressions, realized their societal roles, and practiced articulating their thoughts based on historical analysis. An intellectual quiz was also organized to boost students' cognitive engagement.
