On April 30, 2025, the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law held a discussion dedicated to cybersecurity issues, as part of the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 16: “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.”
The event was attended by officers from the Cybercrime Department of the Almaty City Police — Sarsembek A. B. and Rasyilkhan B.A., as well as Vice Dean Asanova S.E., Head of Department Kuanaliyeva G.A., and Deputy Head of Department Rasheva G.K.
The discussion session was held at the China-Central Asia Law Ascertainment and Research Center – China-Kazakhstan Legal Research Center. Participants discussed current cyber threats, legal aspects of digital security, and the prospects for international cooperation in combating cybercrime.
