“First Love” Brought Joy and Laughter

“First Love” is a comedy play written by Kazakh playwright Kanat Zhunisov, portraying school life and the first feelings of adolescence. The story follows an 11th-grade student named Kanat, who falls in love with a young teacher newly arrived in the village and tries to express his feelings through poetry. The play reflects the daily life of schoolchildren, the jokes of classmates, and the bonds of friendship.

Through this performance, the student theater “BIZ” brings audiences back to memories of their first love and childhood, offering joy and heartfelt laughter. “First Love” has been staged in various cities across Kazakhstan, including at KazNU.
