6 may, 2025

Associate Professor of the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences B. Kalymbek, and PhD, Senior Lecturer M.N. Umbetov with the participation of students from academic groups 206 and 306, an event titled “Tribute to Heroism” was held in Panfilov Park. This event had a significant impact on fostering patriotic spirit among the youth.
The Great Patriotic War, inscribed in golden letters on the pages of history, is a vivid symbol of the courage and indomitable spirit of our people. This devastating war, which lasted from 1941 to 1945, claimed the lives of millions and became a tragic period that cast a shadow over the entire nation. Today’s generation bows their heads in gratitude and eternal reverence to the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of their homeland in the fire and flames of that war.

War veterans are an invaluable treasure of our country. They are symbols of bravery, resilience, and boundless love for the Motherland. Thanks to the self-sacrifice and heroism of the veterans, we live today under a peaceful sky. For the current generation, this is both a great pride and a tremendous responsibility.

Honoring the memory of those who fought on the bloody front, gave their lives for peace, and those who returned to help rebuild the country is our civic duty. Every year, on the eve of May 9 — Victory Day — various events are held across the country to show special respect to veterans. This is an important step in preserving their heroic legacy in the memory of future generations.

The life path of the older generation, who endured the fiery years of the Great Patriotic War, is a true example for the youth. They taught us not only the meaning of victory, but also the values of unity and patriotism. Thus, paying tribute to veterans is not just a sign of respect — it is a demonstration of loyalty to history.

Let us not forget: history is a sacred chronicle that preserves the memory of a nation. The names of our heroes in that chronicle are eternal!
