The "Jubilee Symphony" Evening Dedicated to Eleonora Duysenkyzy's 80th Anniversary

On April 17, 2025, the "Jubilee Symphony" evening was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, and holder of the II degree "Barys" order, Eleonora Duysenkyzy.
The solemn event gathered Eleonora Duysenkyzy's colleagues, partners, students, relatives, friends, and renowned scholars, many of whom traveled from other countries and cities.
The ceremony began with a welcome speech by the hosts. The professor is an outstanding personality who has dedicated more than sixty years of her life to science and education. "The Jubilee Symphony dedicated to Professor Eleonora Suleimenova is not just an expression of respect but a musical portrait that reflects all the multifaceted aspects of her scientific and pedagogical activities. Each chord and each movement in this symphony represents a new phase in her scientific career, and every tone contributes to the development of science," the hosts stated.
The celebrant was congratulated by the Chairman of the Board — Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebaev, who emphasized the scholar's contribution to the development of science and education in the country, as well as the training of several generations of skilled specialists and talented scholars.
During the festive evening, Beksat Abitov, an employee of the University’s Art Center, performed Eleonora Duysenkyzy’s favorite song, "Eki Zhyren". The student dance ensemble "Baqyt" and the "Farab" ethno-ensemble also performed.
