UNESCO Chair Students on Sustainable Development: Victorious on All Fronts!
April turned out to be rich in victories and achievements for the students of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development. At the departmental meeting, active and talented students who proudly represented the university on various academic and creative platforms this month were honored!
🏆 Special congratulations went to:
🔹 Alina Shaimerden and Botagoz Mukhametkaliyeva, winners of the XVII Republican Subject Olympiad held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (supervisor: S.S. Bergeneyeva).
🔹 Alina Shaimerden, a 2nd-year student, was also awarded 🥉3rd place in the university business ideas competition (supervisor: M.M. Abdibattaeva).
🎓 Aysha Madibekova received a diploma from the Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Zh.K. Tuimebayev, for winning 3rd place in the "Farabi-Álemi" International Conference within the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management (supervisor: L.T. Ismukhanova).
🌿 Participants of the XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in Ecology, held at L.N. Gumilyov ENU, were also recognized:
✔️ Educational program "Ecology": Alima Baimukhanova, Dilnaz Eleusinova, Milana Sklabovskaya (supervisors: E.O. Doszhanov, K.K. Khamitova)
✔️ Educational program "Environmental Engineering": Saule Kerimbai, Aklima Makhambetova, Saniya Ortai (supervisors: B.Kh. Tusupova, L.S. Kurbanova, K.K. Khamitova)
🏅 The "Ecology" team proudly took 3rd place among 25 university teams nationwide!
✨ The department wished the students continued success and new achievements — including at the upcoming Republican Student Research Competition (NIRS).
