The Department of MCM at the seminar on program accreditation

On January 17, 2025, the head of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Bektomesov Zh.M., along with faculty members Akhmetzhanov M.A., Kulbay M.N., Mausumbekova S.D., Beketayeva A.O., and Sabirova R.F., participated in a specialized (programmatic) accreditation seminar for educational programs organized by the Central Asian Association.

The seminar was held within the framework of the United Nations' 17th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) — "Partnerships for the Goals." The main aim of the event was to enhance the quality of education and develop professional competencies in line with international standards.

The seminar was led by the president of the Central Asian Association (CAAAE), Abzhapparov A. Participants learned about accreditation standards, quality assurance methods, and best practices, which provided valuable insights for their professional development.

Special certificates were awarded to all participants for their active involvement in the seminar.
