On April 22-23, 2025, the University Chess Cup tournament was held in Almaty, where Shudabay Almas, a student of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling at KazNU, won 1st place, showcasing his exceptional skill.
The prestigious competition gathered the best students from 35 universities across Kazakhstan. During the tournament, Almas demonstrated not only his strategic thinking but also made a significant contribution to the victory of his team.
