SDGs 4, 5, 11, 16: “Ulyt Azhary: Sultans and Beauties – 2025” Contest: A Vivid Fusion of National Spirit and Modern Culture

The final stage of the “Ulyt Azhary: Sultans and Beauties – 2025” contest was successfully held at our university. This year, the event reached a citywide scale, uniting talented and artistic students from various higher education institutions.

The main purpose of the contest was to promote national identity by harmonizing traditional heritage with modern culture, as well as to identify well-rounded and creative young individuals. The event also aimed to enhance stage culture, public speaking skills, and artistic expression among the youth.

The final round consisted of three segments: “Introduction”, “Catwalk”, and “Talent Show”.
Ten contestants who passed the preliminary selection took part in the final, where they demonstrated their creativity, stage presence, eloquence, and images reflecting national aesthetics at a high level. Results of the contest:

In the “Zhigit Sultany” (Best Gentleman) category:

  • Grand Prix – Ediluly Asylzhan (Faculty of Journalism)
  • 1st place – Muratuly Almas (T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts)
  • 2nd place – Seidakhmetov Zhiger (Higher School of Economics and Business)
  • 3rd place – Yelubekov Zhiger (Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics)

 

In the “Ana Tili Aruy” (Language Beauty) category:

  • Grand Prix – Ziyadin Aigerim (Faculty of International Relations)
  • 1st place – Bulkenbai Tolganai (Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management)
  • 2nd place – Elemes Enlik (Faculty of Journalism)
  • 3rd place – Tlesh Nurai (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology)

The contest was organized at a high level and received positive feedback from both participants and spectators.

Such cultural events serve as an important platform for youth to explore their national identity, integrate it with modern culture, and step into the future with confidence.
