A senior lecturer from the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling completed an internship at the University of Reading (United Kingdom) under the international "Bolashak 500 Scholars" program.

Lida Absultanovna Sagimbayeva, a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, successfully completed the international internship program in the 2024-2025 academic year at the Institute of Education, University of Reading (United Kingdom), specializing in "Theory and Methods of Computer Science."

During the internship, our lecturer gained knowledge from professors and researchers at the University of Reading on modern topics such as "Sustainable Development," "Creativity in Education," and "Inclusive Education." They also gained hands-on experience working with innovative educational technologies like Blackboard Ultra, GenAI (Generative Artificial Intelligence), and STEM methodologies. Additionally, they actively participated in research projects, published articles on inclusive education in the context of Kazakhstan, and had the opportunity to deepen their international experience by participating in university scientific conferences and cultural excursions (Bletchley Park, university museums).

Our lecturer plans to apply the results of the internship at KazNU and within the Kazakhstani education system through the following directions: integrating artificial intelligence and digital pedagogy methods into faculty curricula, conducting specialized seminars for teachers and students in the field of inclusive STEM education, and publishing the obtained research results in international scientific journals.

On March 19, 2025, our lecturer received an official certificate for the successful completion of the internship.
