International Collaboration within the Erasmus+ Programme: Lectures at Vilnius University

From May 6 to 10, 2025, Nazym Kairanbayeva, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Turkic Studies and History of Eastern Countries, Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, visited Vilnius University (Republic of Lithuania) as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme.

During the visit, lectures were delivered to the students of the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies at Vilnius University, focusing on topics related to Turkic culture and the heritage of Kazakh civilization. The main goal of the mobility programme was to foster academic cooperation in the field of Turkic studies, facilitate the exchange of research findings—particularly those related to Kazakh culture—and support the development of joint educational initiatives.

The visit also included discussions on further strengthening bilateral cooperation with the academic staff of Vilnius University and exploring opportunities for future joint research and educational projects.
