Al-Farabi KazNU Celebrates Alumni Day on a Grand Scale

On May 30, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a grand celebration to mark Alumni Day. The festive event brought together not only the current graduates of 16 faculties but also distinguished alumni who graduated 50, 40, and 30 years ago. The program featured a ceremonial alumni parade, the traditional «Waltz of Young Graduates», and a heartfelt performance of the alumni anthem. The event was filled with vivid emotions and warm memories.

The official ceremony was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, who extended his heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wished them continued success. In his speech, the Rector emphasized that KazNU alumni contribute significantly to the country’s future development.

Following the formal ceremony, graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Health care gathered in the faculty’s conference hall, where they exchanged fond memories and warm wishes in a friendly atmosphere. The Dean of the Faculty, S.B. Kalmakhanov, congratulated the graduates and highlighted their vital role in enhancing the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Notably, former graduates expressed their gratitude to their alma mater with commemorative gifts. Specifically, graduates of the «Healthcare Management» program donated two monoblocks to their department, while graduates of the «Physical Education and Sports» program presented a printer. The faculty staff expressed their sincere appreciation for the thoughtful contributions and support.
