KazNU athletes distinguished themselves in badminton competitions

A team of students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University won 2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals at badminton competitions within the framework of the XIII Summer Universiade of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This achievement is a source of pride for the university and confirms the high level of athletic training of KazNU students.

Results:

• 1st place in the team competition among women's teams

• 2nd place in the team competition among men's teams

• 1st place in the women's doubles: Erke Toleubayeva and Nuray Zhakay

• 2nd place in the men's doubles: Ilya Malikov and Rayan Nair

• 2nd place in the men's singles: Ilya Malikov

• 2nd and 3rd places in the women's singles: Erke Toleubayeva (2nd), Nuray Zhakay (3rd)

• 3rd place in the mixed doubles: Ilya Malikov and Erke Toleubayeva
