Zhubanov University hosted iii International Forum "Healthy generation - nation's wealth"

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov hosted the III International Forum "Healthy generation - the wealth of the nation" within the framework of the decade "Family - the beginning of education". The purpose of the event is to provide effective strategies and solutions aimed at improving the system of quality education and psychological support for young people in the context of global changes.

The large-scale event was attended by high-profile psychologists, experts from UNESCO, ISESCO, the United Nations, experts in the field of youth policy, representatives of the National Commission, local administration and law enforcement agencies, as well as scientists from about 15 universities of the country and universities of Uzbekistan and Great Britain. Rector of the university, moderator of the forum Laura Karabasova wished the participants success and noted that this event is not only a platform for discussing topical issues, but also for concrete actions.

At the plenary session, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Of Kazakhstan Akerke Ablaikhanovna noted the importance of providing timely psychological assistance to young people.

"Currently, psychological health of young people is one of the most pressing issues of our society. A variety of social, family, personal issues - this will undoubtedly affect the mental health of young people. Psychological support is not just about treatment or counseling, it's about building trust, giving every young man a feel that he is not alone. If we can provide timely support to our young people, we will simplify their life path and open the way to a successful future, - he said."

Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, political scientist Zhuldyzai Iskakova dwelled on the initiatives raised by the National Commission within the framework of the president's instructions given at the National Kurultai.

"The factors that affect the safety of children and young people are always the main focus. In particular, specific initiatives are being implemented in the areas of protection of women's reproductive health, digital security and suicide prevention. Quality education and education of young people is a common responsibility of the state and parents. At the same time, it is necessary to establish coordinated cooperation between the state and public organizations, - he said."

As part of the forum, expert discussions were held, strategies for protecting the mental health of young people, adapting the educational system to modern requirements and managing risks were presented.
