On May 30, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will host its annual Alumni Day. The events of Alumni Day began with a solemn gathering at the KazNU stadium, followed by a festive procession of university graduates, congratulatory remarks by Rector Zh. Tuimebayev, and speeches by alumni from previous years.
“Alumni Day” also continued at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management.
At the meeting, graduates and guests were shown videos about the history and achievements of the faculty in addition to the concert program. An open dialogue with students took place, where valuable opinions were expressed about the significance and future of the profession.
Graduates of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology who graduated from the university 15, 25, and 30 years ago were specially invited to this event, where they met with current students and faculty members. At the end of the meeting, commemorative photos were taken. For the graduates of 2025, this day was particularly exciting and filled with unforgettable moments.
