Academic Trialogue: Linguistic Education Cooperation Between Kazakhstan, Russia, and China Discussed at Mordovia University

On June 5, 2025, Dr. Ph.D. Nurzhan Baltazhanovna Saparbayeva from the Department of Sinology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University participated in a working meeting held at Mordovia State University, dedicated to the development of academic cooperation between Kazakhstan, Russia, and China. The meeting was attended by the Rector of Mordovia State University, Dmitry Evgenyevich Glushko, the Mayor of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Bykov, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Natalya Viktorovna Burenina, as well as professors, teachers, and students of N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State Research University.
During the meeting, prospective areas of cooperation in the field of language education were discussed. Special attention was paid to the development of new educational programs for teaching Chinese to Russian students and Russian to Chinese students.
The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening academic ties among the three countries and expressed their readiness for further joint work in developing student exchanges and implementing bilateral educational projects. This event marked another step toward enhancing international cooperation in higher education and intercultural dialogue between Kazakhstan, Russia, and China.
