Textbook Launch Event and Japanese Language Seminar for Tourism

Ninomiya Takashi, Borankulova Samal, and Nurelova Assiya from the Department of East Asian Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, published a textbook titled «Қазақстанда саяхаттауға арналған жапон тілі» with the support of the Japan Foundation’s publication grant. On June 13, 2025, a tourism Japanese language seminar was held to commemorate the publication of the textbook. Professor Masaki Ono from the University of Tsukuba introduced the joint research project on Japanese language education between the University of Tsukuba and KazNU, while Ninomiya Takashi, Borankulova Samal, and Nurelova Assiya from KazNU presented on the textbook they published. Representatives from the supporting organizations, the Toshiba International Foundation and the Japan Foundation, also attended the seminar.
