KAZNU PROFESSOR PARTICIPATED IN THE SUMMER SCHOOL OF THE TURKIC WORLD

From June 23 to June 27, 2025, the Second Summer School of the Turkic World titled “The Flourishing of the Turkic World” was held. As part of the program, Professor Laura Yerekesheva from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University delivered a series of lectures.

The event took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Haldun University (Turkey). The program was organized with the support of the Organization of Turkic States and in partnership with several leading universities of the Turkic world: ADA University (Azerbaijan), the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (Uzbekistan), the ÜSSAM Research Center at Üsküdar University (Turkey), and Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (Kazakhstan).

The Summer School served as a significant platform for academic exchange, discussions on pressing issues of Turkic integration, and strengthening scholarly cooperation among the countries of the region.
