The residency educational programs of Al-Farabi KazNU have successfully passed international accreditation.

The "Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Education and Healthcare" (hereinafter – ECA) has carried out the accreditation of two educational programs of NIMO — 6B10114 – Medicine and 6B10113 – Dentistry, as well as 22 residency programs:

− 7R01123 – Cardiac Surgery (Adult and Pediatric)
− 7R01119 – Pulmonology (Adult and Pediatric)
− 7R01127 – Gastroenterology (Adult and Pediatric)

Each program has been recognized as meeting international standards, with an accreditation period of 5 years.

This is not just a quality assessment; it is recognition that graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are prepared for medical practice at the global level.

The reports of the external expert commission and the decision of the Accreditation Council are published in international quality assurance registries such as EQAR-DEQAR, the Asia-Pacific Quality Register (APQR-DAQAR), as well as on the ECA website in the "Register" section: https://www.ecaqa.org/reestr.
